Free Motion Quilting Class






This class is designed for the quilter who knows about piecing, borders, batting and binding and is looking to work on the art of free motion. 

This is not a basic sewing course so some previous sewing experience is required. 

Supply List:

Sewing machine in good working order.  Be sure to bring all your feet and machine manual, bobbins, 80/12 size universal needles
extension cord/power strip
1.5 yards of a solid Cotton fabric
2 fat quarters of different fabrics
batting scraps 12"x12" or bigger
1 spool of Thread to match solid and 1 spool contrasting thread to quilt with
Walking foot
1/4" foot
Free Motion or Big Foot to fit your machine
Snips/scissors
Rotary cutting tools (mat, cutter, ruler)
Favorite washable marking tool

Paper and pens to doodle with and take notes during class

Minimum 3, Maximum 6

Payment in full is required for all classes at the time of registration. Students cancelling up to 1 week prior to the class will receive a full refund, less a $5.00 cancellation fee. After that, refunds will only be made if a replacement student can be found. Please plan to attend all class sessions; there will be no make-up classes.

Author of several quilt making books and step by step instructional programs for crafters of all levels. She is a winner of many ribbons at local, national and international quilt shows for her textile creations.
