This kits includes the finishing instructions, 3" Square in a Square paper, all the prints shown in this layout and the binding. It does not include the background fabric.
If you need to plan background fabric for this layout you will need 3 1/4 yards.

This layout uses 32 of the 9" quilt blocks from the Sewalong. For more info on the Free Sew Along - here is a link to Moda's blog.
For one print backing we recommend 9 yards. However, this leaves a lot of extra fabric.
If you want to piece some of your blocks into the back and/or add something to the back - you can use 6 yards and make a pieced back. We do not have a pieced backing pattern, you will have to come up with your own plans.
